Ahhh, the holidays are around the corner again! Doesn’t it seem like we were just getting ready for the holidays last year? Seems like just yesterday I had Covid and was stuck in my bedroom FaceTiming my family during Christmas dinner! Yep, true story. It wasn’t fun.
Well… I’m ready for a redo! I’m so ready to start decorating! Yeah, I’m definitely a “decorate-before-Thanksgiving” type of person. Funny that Josh would rather wait until after Thanksgiving, but I just love the cozy feeling the lights and trees bring. Why wait?!
So, before we start talking about recipes and decor, we need to talk about our favorite things! People need ideas for their loved ones. I’m here to help. I have sooo many favorite things though, it’s hard to narrow down, I think I’m going to have two parts to this. Today I’ll share my favorite things… and next week, I’ll share my family’s. So much to cover… let’s get started!

Seint – Okay, honestly this one deserves a whole blog post on it’s own. For real, I’m going to do a follow up post soon on this because it may be my most favorite new find of 2022! SEINT MAKEUP. Well, for one, I’m so happy to say that Seint is Sulfate-free, Paraben-free, Gluten-free, and Crueltly-free. My favorite thing, I LOVE how the makeup comes in little tins that are magnetic and fits nicely into the palettes. Absolute genius! This allows me to customize each pallet to my liking! I hate when I buy palettes but then only like one or two of the colors. Drives me nuts. It also made me crazy to have to carry 6+ different cases of makeup in my bag. Once I know the colors that work for me, I can create my palette with all the things I need in it. That’s right. I have a base color, a highlight, a contour, a bronzer, eye shadow, lipstick, blush all in one palette! It’s genius really. Oh and the best part… all of it (except the eyeshadow) is cream! I didn’t know how I would feel about cream, but its the best! It’s not cakey, doesn’t settle into fine lines, it looks dewy and natural. Love everything about it! Plus… it’s just so much fun to do my makeup now! Here’s a tip: Don’t get overwhelmed with all the choices you see. There are a lot of options, but I can help. Walli Cases – One of my newest finds… but these are my FAVORITE phone cases! I’m super picky about my phone cases, lol. Of course, I need my case to be cute, but also a must to be functional! Elta Md – Now I’ve been using this stuff for years! It’s not fancy or anything, but it works. Trust me. It’s the first SPF anything that I’m able to put on my face. It acts as a lightweight moisturizer and it protects as well. LOVE IT. Protect your skin now, while you still can. Basically, I use it in the morning with the Vitamin C Serum. Botanic Tree Glycolic Acid Face Wash – This isn’t really a gift idea, but had to mention it because I LOVE this stuff. It’s my forever face wash. My friend told me about it, I ordered it, and it’s now the only one I use! LOVE IT! Check it out here.
Massage Gun – This has become a must for me. I spend a lot of time looking down at my computer and my neck and shoulders have paid the price. I’m always hurting! This massager is everything. It works so well to get rid of those pesky knots. The only thing negative is I can’t do it myself! Not on the back of my shoulders and neck anyway. Makeup Eraser – I’ll be honest, the first time I saw these I thought they were just going to be a joke. I didn’t think it would live up any good. I was wrong. I no longer need to use make up wipes! I have several of these makeup eraser towels and I wash them all once a week! I think what I love about them the best is that even my mascara has become so easy to take off with this. It comes off incredibly easy and no need to keep buying wipes. Super soft and easy. I’ll never stop using these. Check it out here.
Popcorn Popper – This was a very much needed find for my family. We go through popcorn so fast around here. Not sure what it is but popcorn is like it’s own food group around here, lol! I didn’t feel good about the microwave bags we were consuming. They are so bad for you with all those chemicals in there. I’m so thankful to have found this popper on Amazon!
