Hey y’all! It’s Wednesday and today I just found myself thinking about random stuff to tell you. Nothing major. Nothing deep. Just a bunch of randomness! Haha…you’ll soon learn that I can be pretty random! It’s not that I can’t focus or anything…I just have so much that comes to my mind and I’m constantly thinking. So, some Wednesdays just maybe a brain dump of things that are up with me and/or my fam. 🙂
What I’m reading…
I have made myself a new goal that I hope you can help me stick to. Or maybe you can even join me! I want to read at least 3 books a month. Okay I’ll start with two, haha! Gosh, I don’t know if even that’s realistic for me right now. When you have a six year old…there’s rarely such a thing as quiet time! Know what I mean? LOL…I love her.
Okay, so for May I read:
Woah. The Woman in Cabin 10 is so intense! Seriously you guys would love it! Well…only if you love suspense novels! I LOVE them! I love edge-of-my-seat books that I can’t put down because I just cannot wait to see what happens next! This one is definitely one of those books. It’s about a young woman who goes on a Norwegian Fjords cruise and realizes the girl in the cabin next to hers has disappeared. I don’t want to give anything away…but there were two moments in this book that made me jump. I don’t know how the ending would play out and was kept in suspense the entire time. Definitely not something you should read if you’re going on a cruise anytime soon!😘

Nantucket Sisters is such a great beach read! It’s about two friends in Nantucket. It starts out with them as 11 and you watch them grow up. It’s definitely just a light, easy read. It kept my attention and it wasn’t predictable.

What’s one show I’m watching…
Okay, so I will admit that I’m kind of addicted to those competition baking shows. LOL! My fave is Cupcake Wars! I don’t know why they fascinate me so much but I LOVE them! I just watch in awe at how they can take random ingredients and make something so delicious out of them! And how can you bake 1000 cupcakes in two hours!!?? It gets pretty intense, lol! I so wish I was a baker. I mean, yeah, I can bake cookies and brownies and stuff, but I mean…an all out professional baker and cake decorator! That would be fun! Wouldn’t it be fun to own a cupcake shop?? No, but really, I have thought about it before. 🙄 My poor husband. Josh would roll his eyes because he always has to hear about all my great ideas! It’s fun to dream, right?!
What’s one new product I’m loving…
Flip Flop Foot Repair is ah-mazing! Who has time for a pedicure?? Not me! These are perfect for those days when you’re in flip flops or sandals…and you look down and see some cracked, dry skin! Save-the-day kind of stuff here! Can’t beat the price either…it lasts FOREVER!
What I’m thinking about…
I’m thinking that this same time last year, radio stations began playing Something Different, by Why Don’t We! And tonight…they’re about to release their latest single HOOKED! I am BEYOND excited for this one, y’all! Even more excited for the video tomorrow!!! I cannot wait to see how it turned out. I was there for some of the video shoot in LA, but the end result is always such a huge surprise! So much goes into these videos and it’s literally just magic to see it unfold! Cannot wait!!!
Okay…I think that’s it for my first What’s Up Wednesday! I think I’m going to go see about baking some cupcakes tonight…or maybe at least some cookies! A celebration for the release of HOOKED!!! Hope you all have a wonderful day…

Hello! It sounds like we love the same types of books so thought I would give you a couple that I just LOVED! I also have 3 kids: 16, 14, and 11 so I hear ya about the time to read and random thoughts! That’s my life! 😉 I actually just started reading 1 book and listening to another book while I walk..surprisingly picking these books I can’t put down I have lost 11 pounds just by walking and listening!! Ha! Do u have a goodreads account? Mine is Kathryn Taylor so if u like the books I suggest u can always look there for more and I am always in the hunt for new recommendations so I hope u will put more in your blog!! So.. my top 3 picks for you are: the last Mrs. Parrish.., pretty girls by Karen slaughter, both are suspenseful and then for some nice southern fluff sometimes I need a break for my heart LOL would be anything by Mary Kay Andrews. i’m so exited for there new song and video i always freak out when they announce it. and i LOVE baking shows there always so interesting. then i just get hungry watching them lol. my family always thinks of random things and if we open stores or something. it usually happens every time at dinner, it kinda of a family thing we do lol. anyway i will defiantly try reading at least 2 books a month with you and see how it goes idk witch ones i should start with though. but i love you guys always and i am counting down for the release of the song/video. <3
I love this and honestly thought of reading more books over summer you know? But instead I found myself journaling for awhile its so entertaining and really gets me thinking about everything.
